Curriculum
Through our broad, balanced and personalised curriculum including enrichment activities, along with carefully planned and well taught lessons, St Paul’s ensures that pupils are highly motivated and achieve well. The school follows the new National Curriculum and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
In the Foundation Stage, children develop the key building blocks for success in future years. The stimulating and well-resourced environment allows children to develop key skills such as communication, literacy and numeracy as well as important social skills.
From Year 1 to Year 6, the curriculum includes RE, maths, English, science, geography, history, music, art, computing, DT and PE. A strong emphasis is placed on developing and applying high levels of numeracy and literacy.
