Meet The Year 2 Team!

Information about Year 2 and the school expectations

  • Welcome to Year 2.pptx

Welcome to Year 2! Our topic this half term will be 'Explorers'.

Reminders

  • Weekly spelling tests will take place every Friday. Please ensure spellings are practiced at home as spelling dojos will be up for grabs.
  • Homework will be sent home on a Friday and must be returned by the following Wednesday. Please ensure homework is completed to a high standard and that your child's homework book is in school on the Wednesday.
  • Please listen to your child read every day to keep up and develop their reading skills. When listening to your child please ask them questions about the book and encourage them to use different voices for characters in stories.
  • This half term PE will be on a Thursday. Your child's PE kit should remain in school throughout the half term. Please ensure earrings are not worn on PE days.
  • Any work that your child does at home will earn them a dojo point.

  • Each week, the class with the best attendance gets a chocolate cake.  Please send your child to school EVERY day!!!

  • Make sure your child is here ON TIME everyday! We want to collect the rainbow letters to complete Perfect Punctuality and get our prize as soon as we can.

Have a look at the documents below to see what Y2 are doing in school.

Thank you for your support
