Meet the Year 3 Team.

Class Teacher: Miss Delafield

Teaching Assistant: Miss Taylor

Welcome to Year 3!

We are looking forward to an exciting year with you all in your first year as a St Paul's junior! Here, on our class page, you can find all the essential information you may need during your time in Year 3. We are continuing our learning in Spring 1 with our new topic: "Rock and Roll."

Attendance and Punctuality are key in ensuring you reach your full potential. Remember, every week the class with the best attendance wins a prize to share. Please make sure you are here every day for our chance at winning!

Please make sure your child is here ON TIME every day! We want to collect the rainbow letters to complete Perfect Punctuality and get our prize as soon as we can. Remember, there is the bonus prize at the end of the half term, for all those that are model pupils. This includes being here every day, on time! This half term's prize is 'St. Paul's at the movies!"

Weekly Reminders

  • P.E this half term is on a Monday afternoon. Your child's PE kit should remain in school throughout the half term.  Please ensure earrings are not worn on PE days.
  • Homework is given out on Fridays and must be returned the following Wednesday.
  • Spellings are given out on Fridays and a spelling test will be given the following Friday.
  • Reading books will be changed Monday, Wednesday and Friday if finished and the reading record is signed. There is an expectation that all children read at least three times a week at home, ideally every day.

There are so many exciting areas of the curriculum to look forward to in Year 3, please have a look at the documents below to see what we will be learning about throughout the year or find out more about our topic this half term.

Please speak to any member of the class team if you have any questions or concerns. We are always willing to help.

Thank you for your support.
